Omar "Chip"'s Obituary
QUINTANILLA, Omar "Chip" - Of Flint, age 71, died Monday, October 29, 2018.
Memorial service will be held 3pm Monday, November 5, 2018 at the Swartz Funeral Home, 1225 West Hill Road, Flint,
Deacon John Sundwick officiating.
Cremation has taken place and burial of cremains at Great Lakes National Cemetery at a later date.
Visitation 12pm Monday until the time of the service at the funeral home.
Omar was born in Saginaw on September 28, 1947, the son of the late Tomas and Victoria (Sermeno) Quintanilla. Omar was a United States Army Veteran. He retired from Buick and was a proud member of UAW Local #599. He was also a member of the Eagles Club.
Surviving are children, Chad (Michelle Vanover) Quintanilla, Victoria (Larry) Kinzie, Tiffany Quintanilla, Terralee Clardy and Roman Cussans-Quintanilla;
grandchildren, Ben, Harris, Mira, Madix, Taylor, Alexis, Jax and Amelia;
girlfriend, Melody Williams;
former wife, Kathleen;
uncle, Santos;
siblings, Tomas Jr., Patrick "Wavy", Richard (Sue) and Lydia;
and many nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and many dear friends, especially Joey.
